Tru Platinum Privacy Policy
(Effective December 1, 2004)
Tru Platinum is dedicated to maintaining the confidentiality of
your personal financial information because we value your trust.
This document explains our views and practices regarding our use
of nonpublic personal information we receive about you.
Within this document, "You" or "Your" means you as a participant
in or as a user of the Tru Platinum Shopping Card. "We" or "Our"
or "Us" means Tru Platinum and its affiliated companies. "Our site"
means the Internet web site(s) run by Tru Platinum and/or its affiliated
companies. By using or accessing the Site, you signify your assent
to our Privacy Policy. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR OTHERWISE USE THE SITE.
Visitors to our Web Site
Visitors to our web site remain anonymous unless they register for
a product or service, or otherwise elect to disclose their identity
to us. At the present, we do not collect personally identifying
information, limited information (i.e., name and address) or IP
addresses (i.e., numeric addresses assigned automatically to computers
when they access the Internet) about persons who visit our site.
While cookies may be used to help us customize our site, make navigation
easier, help us estimate the number of visitors to our site, and
help us identify which areas are most popular, we do not automatically
place “cookies” on a computer unless the visitor has used our shopping
cart procedure when visiting the site.
Tru Platinum reserves the right to track and utilize any/all of
this information, gathered by whatever means available to us, if
we determine it is necessary to provide you better service.
Personal Information Collected by Tru Platinum
Tru Platinum collects any information you enter on our Web site
or provide to us by telephone, mail, or facsimile, whether you are
establishing an account with us, submitting an order, participating
in an online survey, participating in a special offer or communicating
with any of our departments such as customer services or sales.
Examples of the type of information you may supply to us include
your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and social
security number. This information is knowingly provided by you through
online forms, registration forms, surveys, and other entries. The
amount of information you provide is strictly voluntary.
Personal, demographic and profile data is used by Tru Platinum to

our catalog and online delivery of merchandise to you, and allow
us to provide you with information about our company and materials
from our affiliates /or partners. We may also use this information
for statistical analysis, marketing and promotional purposes, and
as a source of feedback for ours and our affiliates’/ or partners’

Tru Platinum reserves the right to share, rent, sell, or otherwise
disclose data we collect from you to trusted third parties who are
our affiliates/ or partners. We may choose to disclose all the information,
or only a portion of the information you provide. Any third party
we share, rent, sell, or otherwise disclose data to will be determined
by us to be reputable, and will use the personal data for marketing
products and services which we determine, in our sole judgment,
may be of interest to you. These third party businesses may be selected
by Tru Platinum to bring selected retail opportunities to our members
via direct mail, e-mail and/or telemarketing. These businesses may
include providers of direct marketing services and applications
(i.e., lookup and reference, data enhancement, suppression and validation
and e-mail marketing), lenders, credit bureaus, other financial
services providers, insurance agents and card issuers, among others.
We do not disclose personal information about our current or former
customers to unaffiliated third parties, that is, individuals or
companies who are not Tru Platinum’s affiliates or partners, except
as set forth in this policy or as permitted by law.
Your Right to Opt-Out of Disclosures to Third Parties
If you do not wish Tru Platinum to share nonpublic personal information
about you with third parties, you may opt-out of those disclosures
at any time. To opt-out, you must notify us either by calling by

100, Newport Beach, CA 92660 or by e-mailing info@truplatinum.com.
Your opt-out election does not apply to disclosures permitted or
required by law.
Our Commitment to Information Security
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to
our employees who have a need to know such information (e.g., to
process your transactions). We train our employees on the importance
of customer privacy and confidentiality. We also maintain physical,
electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards
to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Additionally, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect
the transmission of the information you submit to us when you use
our secure online forms. The information you provide to us is stored

Services and Advertisements by Third Parties
Third parties may offer services from time to time at our web site.
If you provide them with information, their use of that information
will be subject to their privacy policy, if any, and will not be
subject to this policy. You should be aware that if you accept third

the offer was made only through our site.
Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important.
